Monitoring Tropical Storm

Gardner-Webb University will suspend normal operations until noon today, at which time classes will resume and all employees should report.  Modified dining will be available at The Caf beginning at 9:00 am and at Chick-fil-A beginning at 10:30 am, with a return to full service at noon.  All Family Weekend events will continue as scheduled.

Power is currently out on the main GWU campus. When power is out on campus, please do not use candles to light your space. Charged digital devices and  flashlights will work and so will cellular service to your phone. We expect power to be restored soon. In the meantime contact University police at (704) 406-4444 for any emergency and don’t forget to download the Live Safe app.

As conditions change, the University will continue to update communications.
