category: Weather Updates Weather Update: Tropical Storm Nicole By Gardner-Webb University On November 10, 2022 Monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole University officials are monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole and its projected path has shifted more to the west. The latest forecast has our main campus receiving wind remaining steady at 10-15 mph with gusts between 20-25 mph and heavy rainfall from late this evening into early tomorrow morning. We are under a Lake Wind advisory until tomorrow at 7 pm. Be careful traveling Thursday or Friday and be aware that roadways will be slick and conditions may change quickly. Do not attempt to drive through standing water on, or across any roadway. The University will continue to monitor the storm and provide updates as necessary.
