Zach Weisz

Assistant Baseball Coach

Zach Weisz is the assistant baseball coach. He began his baseball journey at Cal State Fullerton, where he was a part of a team that captured the Big West Conference title twice. Over the course of his college career, he competed in three NCAA Regionals, advanced to two Super Regionals, and ultimately helped lead his team to the College World Series in Omaha. Following his playing days, Zach transitioned into coaching, spending two seasons as a Graduate Assistant (GA) at Cal State Fullerton. His career then took him to Coastal Carolina, where he served as the Director of Baseball Operations for two seasons. During his time there, Coastal Carolina won the Sun Belt Conference in 2023, earned a national ranking as high as #5, and hosted a Regional in Conway. The following year, in 2024, the team reached a peak ranking of #13 in the country and battled their way to the championship game of the Clemson Regional. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in American studies in 2019 and his master’s degree in history in 2022 from Cal State Fullerton. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Megan, his family, and his two dogs, Jett and Cy.
