Presidential Search Update: Hear from each presidential finalist

Dear Gardner-Webb Community,

As we continue seeking God’s guidance in identifying the next President of Gardner-Webb University, I am pleased to share an update on our progress. During the first week of November, the Presidential Search Committee will host three finalists on campus for in-person interviews with faculty, staff, students, and members of the broader Gardner-Webb family.

Each candidate will also take part in a public forum—an opportunity for our community and friends to hear directly from them as they share their vision for what the next five years could look like under their leadership and calling to serve this University.

Public Forum Schedule
Location: Tucker Student Center, Faith Hall

  • Candidate #1: Tuesday, November 4 | 2:30–3:15 p.m.
  • Candidate #2: Thursday, November 6 | 2:30–3:15 p.m.
  • Candidate #3: Friday, November 7 | 2:30–3:15 p.m.

CVs for each candidate will be available online one day prior to their respective visits. Please remember that all information and communications about the presidential search are also available online for your review. Following the interviews and forums, an online feedback form will be provided to help guide the committee’s discernment.

As we approach this important moment in the life of Gardner-Webb, I invite you to join us in prayer—asking for wisdom, clarity, and unity as we seek the leader God has prepared to shepherd this University into its next season of growth and service.

May Gardner-Webb forever be a spring of living water!

In Christ,

Rev. Dr. Lamont Littlejohn
Chairman, Presidential Search Committee
