Greetings GWU Family,

I want to provide you with an update on the work of the Presidential Search Committee. The period for best consideration of applications has now passed, and the committee is actively reviewing and ranking potential candidates.

In the coming days, we will meet to determine the slate for first-round interviews. This is a pivotal moment in the life of our University, and I ask for your continued prayers as we seek the Lord’s guidance in this important process.

We are committed to keeping our Gardner-Webb community informed, and I will share updates as we move closer to naming the 14th President of our beloved institution.

May Gardner-Webb forever be a spring of living water!

Rev. Dr. Lamont Littlejohn
Chairman, Presidential Search Committee

We invite all members of the Gardner-Webb community—faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends—to remain engaged throughout this process.

If you have questions or comments, please contact us at [email protected].

Together, we are committed to a transparent, inclusive search process.
