Home / People / Kimery Crowder Kimery Crowder Advancement Officer Kimery Laughlin Crowder serves as an Advancement Officer, working with friends of the University to fulfill their philanthropic goals. Kimery is a native of Cleveland County and has served the community in multiple capacities throughout the years and she currently serves on several local boards. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a double major in Education and Communication Studies. Most recently, Kimery served as the Senior Director of Financial Development for all of the YMCA’s in Cleveland County. Her knowledgeable background in development and sales has aided in Kimery developing a deep passion for cultivating long lasting relationships. Kimery is thrilled to make an impact at Gardner-Webb! Kimery is married to Dixon and they have a daughter, Clara Vada. She spends her free time with family and friends, traveling, playing pickleball, and being active in her church and community.
