Courses are taught by educators who have practical experience teaching children in pre-K through sixth-grade classrooms. All three fully-online programs will start on March 7, and applications are being accepted now. College of Education Dean and Professor Dr. Prince Bull described the College of Education faculty as knowledgeable, dedicated, and student-centered. He shared, “As a catalyst for sustainable change, the faculty has terminal degrees to prepare candidates to address the needs of diverse K-12 students across North Carolina.” Graduates of the College of Education are prepared to become 21st-century leaders in every aspect of their profession, having effective communication skills that assure student learning. “We prepare candidates at different entry levels: full degrees, licensure only, and resident license teachers,” Bull noted. “To meet the demands of our candidates, we offer online, campus, and summer courses. Bachelor of Science in Birth-Kindergarten Education Students will be prepared to teach in, administer, and direct early learning environments from ages birth to five.
