He previously served as marketing coordinator of the Cleveland County Arts Council. In this position, he supervised the Real to Reel International Film Festival and Art of Sound Music Festival. He has also worked as a film critic and journalist for multiple publications across print, radio, and television since 2019. Manning is a 2022 alumnus of Gardner-Webb, having earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in communications and English. A film-lover through and through, Manning spends his free time exploring all that the world of cinema has to offer. Additionally, solo road trips are his preferred mode of vacation. He is also an ultra-marathon runner and appreciator of any mountainous terrain he can find.
