Important Spring 26′ Information

Happy New Year Bulldogs!

I hope that this email finds you, your family, and friends doing well and I hope that you have had a healthy and safe holiday season so far. We are very much looking forward to our new and returning students to come to campus for the spring semester which begins on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Please see the below for important information on how to return to campus for the spring semester:

New Students

We are very excited to welcome our new students to Gardner-Webb University on Friday January 9, 2026 . New students should check-in at the Tucker Student Center from 8 a.m. to Noon.  For more information about New Student Orientation please go to: https://gardner-webb.edu/accepted-students/orientation/ or contact Brian Arnold, Assistant Dean of Students at [email protected].

Returning Residential Students: 

All students can begin checking in on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Tucker Student Center. If for any reason you will be here after 5 p.m. or not on Friday, please let a housing staff member know, and call Housing and Residence Education on Call: 704-300-3161.

If you are requesting to come in early for any reason, please ensure that you complete the Christmas Break Request Application in your housing self-service portal. This application will need to be approved before you arrive on campus. If you are requesting to come in early for a non-university related reason, you may be charged $25 per day that you are on campus.

Meal Plans

Meal plans have been rolled over from the Fall semester. If you are wanting to make a change to your meal plan, email [email protected] with your Student ID number and what plan you would like to switch to before January 12, 2026.
