Jessica Van Cleave, PhD

Associate Professor, College of Education

Dr. Van Cleave, along with her two co-editors, Hilary Hughes (University of Georgia) and Sarah Bridges (Georgia State University), won the 2022 Award for Significant Contribution to Qualitative Research Methods from Division D of the American Educational Research Association for their two-volume special issue of Qualitative Inquiry. This award recognizes a piece of published research judged to represent a significant conceptual advancement in the theory and practice of educational qualitative research methods. She will be presented with the award at the 2022 Annual Meeting of American Educational Research Association in April.
