Dean Clark Appointed Acting Interim President

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – It was announced today that Dean Clark, Gardner-Webb Vice President for Enrollment Management, will serve as acting interim president until the Board of Trustees appoints an interim president. 

Board of Trustees Chair Lamont Littlejohn Jr. remarked, “I know and admire Dean Clark for his leadership and dedication to Gardner-Webb. He will serve as a steady hand at the wheel until the full Board selects an interim president.” 

Clark has been with Gardner-Webb since 2022.  He has served in higher education leadership roles for over 20 years. Before coming to Gardner-Webb, he served as executive vice president at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Calif. Prior to that he was vice president for Enrollment at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.

The Board of Trustees will meet this coming Monday, Feb. 24.
