Individual graduate programs provide program-specific orientations for their students at each new enrollment cycle. For online graduate programs, the orientation will be conducted by webinar.
Each new student receives a New Student Orientation Letter that provides the name, email address, and phone number of the director/coordinator of the program the student is entering as well as additional information and instructions about navigating the graduate school experience with Gardner-Webb Online.
Accommodations are available from the University for students who have a documented disability as defined by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Determination of accommodations is a collaborative interpretation between student and The Noel Center for Disability Resources. Whether it’s notetakers, interpreters, testing accommodation, alternate format, or other accommodation, The Noel Center would be happy to assist.
Information on disability accessibility is communicated to students in their New Student Orientation, New Student Orientation Letter, Continuing Student Letter, and in course syllabi.
