Previously, she maintained the plants at Briarpatch Greenhouses for three years. She also worked at Cleveland Community College as a student tutor for four semesters. Chavez helped students who needed assistance with any of their networking classes, cybersecurity classes or any computer skills help they may have needed. She has two associate degrees from Cleveland Community College in information technology, network technician and cybersecurity. Her hobbies are spending time with family and friends, watching shows or movies and walking on trails, especially in the mountains.
