Home / People / Dr. Jonathan Ahearn Dr. Jonathan Ahearn Assistant Professor of Exercise Science Jonathan is assistant professor of Exercise Science. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of South Carolina and his Bachelor of Science from Gardner-Webb. He also holds certifications as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Ahearn has been a North Carolina and South Carolina state certified physical therapist since 2013. He met his wife, Victoria, at Gardner-Webb, and she serves as the principal of Gaston Christian school’s Shelby campus. They have three children: Rylie, Sydney and Christian. Ahearn is interested in serving God in what he has called him to do. He spends his free time exercising, traveling, and being active with his family.
