Home / People / Kanisha Fowler Kanisha Fowler Director of Annual Giving Kanisha is a 2015 graduate from Gardner-Webb with a major in Journalism and minor in Public Relations. Kanisha came back to her alma mater in August 2019 to serve as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving where she built relationships with alumni and worked with students fundraising for the Annual Scholarship Fund. As the Director of Annual Giving, she works alongside campus partners to lead Double Dawg Day, Gardner-Webb’s annual day of giving, as well as manages Student Development Officers, coordinates annual giving mailers, and other projects to cultivate and steward donors. Kanisha prioritizes connection, collaboration, and community. When she’s not at work, she’s serves as the Founder and executive director of DreamGirls Ministry, a ministry focused on mentoring teen girls to follow God and follow their dreams.
