He completed his undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill with a major in Chemistry (BA) and a minor in Music. After working in emergency medical services (EMS), Professor Williford attended East Carolina University and obtained a Master’s Degree (MS) in Physician Assistant Studies. His clinical experience after PA school includes emergency medicine and cardiology. Professor Williford enjoys teaching and hopes to help students become well-rounded providers because the field of medicine benefits greatly from providers who are both intelligent and compassionate. Aside from academics, you can also find Professor Williford spending time with family and friends, playing instruments, hiking, on the golf course, or involved in some type of game.
