Home / People / Dr. Robert Prickett Dr. Robert Prickett Professor and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Robert Prickett is dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. From 2010 to 2022, he was associate dean for the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of English education at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. He has a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction, English education and a Master of Arts in English from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. He also earned a Master of Arts in secondary, higher, and foundations of education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and journalism, newspaper editorial from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. His interests include popular culture, golf, travel, food and podcasts.
