Home / People / Sabel (Gabby) Franklin Sabel (Gabby) Franklin Assistant Director of Membership and Events Gabby is a Second-Generation Runnin’ Bulldog. During her time as an undergraduate student, she spent her time on the sidelines at sporting events as a Cheerleader and had the amazing opportunity to intern at the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Greenville, South Carolina, where she found a passion for donor development and building donor relationships. After graduating with a business degree in Healthcare Management in 2022, Gabby continued her education while being a Graduate Assistant for the Bulldog Club and the Office of Advancement and obtained a master’s degree in business administration in 2023. Gabby is now the Assistant Director of Membership and Events and will be the first to tell anyone that “Gardner-Webb University is not just a place of Higher Education. To me it is home. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to work for “God and Humanity” while starting a career for a university that has opened many doors for me to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually!”
