College can be a fulfilling and rewarding experience and is a time to learn all sorts of new things. Learning occurs in the classroom as you prepare yourself to become an accomplished professional in your field of study. Personal learning and growth also occur as a direct result of your active engagement in the University community. The entire staff of the student life department at Gardner-Webb is committed to enhancing student life to get the most out of the collegiate experience.

Our responsibility to you is to provide support and resources to facilitate responsible life choices and encourage a vibrant Gardner-Webb University community. As you begin or continue on your journey at Gardner-Webb, we encourage you to actively engage with your classmates and faculty.

Consider joining a student organization or seek out a student employment position to further enhance your collegiate journey. Gardner-Webb is a diverse community made up of a wide variety of students, we encourage you to take advantage of every opportunity to get to know someone different than yourself.
