Gardner-Webb University is excited to host Dr. Carol Kruger for a workshop on music literacy on Monday, July 21st through Wednesday, July 23rd. A description of the workshop can be found below as well as information about pricing and registration. A certificate for CEUs will also be awarded at the conclusion of the workshop.
Fostering Music Literacy in Rehearsals and the Music Classroom
This experiential workshop will focus on the acquisition of music literacy skills via a sound before symbol approach and explore specific techniques for developing audiation, dictation and improvisation.
Price: 3-Day Workshop – $50 (includes all workshop fees and a lunch on the final day)
Schedule: Monday and Tuesday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Wednesday 8:30am – 4:00pm.
