Home / People / Dr. Robert Prickett Dr. Robert Prickett Interim Chair, Interim Chair, Department of Social Sciences, Professor and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Robert Prickett is dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. From 2010 to 2022, he was associate dean for the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of English education at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. He has a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction, English education and a Master of Arts in English from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. He also earned a Master of Arts in secondary, higher, and foundations of education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and journalism, newspaper editorial from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. His interests include popular culture, golf, travel, food and podcasts.
