Weather Update: Current Campus Conditions

Weather Schedule Update

Gardner-Webb University continues to monitor winter weather conditions following overnight snowfall and the potential impact on campus operations.

At this time, there are no additional changes to the current campus status or schedule, and the University remains in Essential Employees Response Team 2 operations, as previously communicated.

Crews are actively monitoring conditions and maintaining primary walking routes. Community members should continue to use caution when navigating campus and follow designated routes.

The next scheduled update will be shared Monday, January 26 at 12 p.m., or sooner if conditions change. This update will include information regarding work and class schedule for Tuesday, January 27th.

Dining Services

  • Sunday and Monday:
    • Cafeteria – open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. In addition to our dine in service, students will also be offered to go options to accommodate the change in hours
    • All other dining locations closed

Dover Library & Suttle Wellness Center – Closed

LiveSafe is an official University safety app used by students, faculty, and staff to receive emergency notifications, access emergency resources, and connect directly with University Police. 

To download the LiveSafe app and join the Gardner-Webb University organization: 

  1. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play 
  2. Follow the prompts to create a LiveSafe profile 
  3. Add Gardner-Webb University as your organization 
  4. Enter your Gardner-Webb University email address and validate your account to begin using LiveSafe
