How it Works

REGISTER FOR CLASSES

Upon registering for courses, you will be enrolled in the program. Once you’ve successfully selected your courses, the Campus Shop will start preparing your order.

VERIFY YOUR ORDER

Beginning 30 days before the first day of classes, you will receive an email to verify your order and select your fulfillment preference.

RECEIVE YOUR TEXTBOOKS

An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Blackboard.

Bulldog Bundle Program

The Bulldog Bundle program is a course materials fulfillment rental program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures students have their required course materials on the first day of class.

  • Register for your classes and the Campus Shop will start preparing your course materials
  • One month before classes start, you will receive an email instructing you to select your delivery preference (in-store pickup or shipped directly to you)
  • An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships
  • Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Blackboard

Currently, the program is available to all students, with the exception of those in the School of Divinity or the Physician Assistant Program. However, students in these programs may still purchase all required course materials through the Campus Shop.

The program does not include consumables that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, dissection kits, molecular model kids, engineering kits or nursing kits; however, students in these programs may still purchase all required course materials through the Campus Shop.

All eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the Bulldog Bundle Program.

If the Bulldog Bundle isn’t the right decision for you, you may choose to opt out by visiting the portal. The opt out period opens July 18 and will close at the conclusion of the Drop/Add period.  Once you select the opt-out option, you will receive an email confirmation of your selection.  You may opt back into the program by visiting the link within the email confirmation at any time within the opt-out period.

Payment

The Bulldog Bundle is billed as a flat fee of $360 per semester for all full-time traditional undergraduate students.  Part-time traditional undergraduate students, and those students in the DCP and Graduate programs (excluding School of Divinity and Physician Assistant programs), will be billed $24 per credit hour.  The Bulldog Bundle Fee will be included on the Student Online Bill.

Materials

The program provides all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes and digital textbook versions to eligible students.

Yes, the program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.

Yes, you will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.

The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of final exams for the semester. Students will receive email reminders delivered to their GWU email address. Books may be returned in person to the Campus Shop or students may use a prepaid UPS label to ship the books no later than the last day of final exams. You may print the prepaid label by signing in or creating an account at the link below.
