Gardner-Webb Accepted Students Coming to Campus on April 12 can Join Webbstock Fun

Incoming Undergraduates Can Learn More About Academics, Housing, Financial Aid and Other Essentials; Stay for the Afternoon and Evening of Free Music

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—Accepted Students Day on April 12 at Gardner-Webb University will not only be a time for students to learn about campus, but will also give them a front row seat for the Fourth Annual Webbstock Music Festival. After spending the morning on campus, students and families can enjoy the afternoon and evening of free entertainment. The festival features four bands, food, artisans and vendors.

Incoming undergraduate students will start Accepted Student Day with check-in at 9 a.m. in Tucker Student Center. They will hear from the GWU advising team, complete a pre-registration worksheet and talk to representatives from Housing and Residence Education. Students and families spread out across campus to their different academic areas for interactive breakout sessions specific to their interests. Finally, they will also have an opportunity to speak to the financial aid team and tour campus.

Jackson Hartley, who lives near Winston-Salem, N.C., is excited about starting at Gardner-Webb in the fall. He was recently notified that he won the Ignite Scholarship, a full-tuition, eight-semester award.

“I love the smaller, tight-knit Christian community feel at Gardner-Webb, like when you cheer for the football team or watch a school play,” Hartley observed. “Everyone I’ve talked to loves the University and everyone in it. I can’t wait to be involved in this environment.”

Registration for Accepted Students Day is open until April 9. For more information, email [email protected] or call 704-406-2550. Follow @futuredawgs on Instagram.
