Home / People / Dr. Brittany Evans Dr. Brittany Evans Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Instructor College of Education Evans joined Gardner-Webb in the fall of 2024. She is a visiting assistant professor in the Elementary Education Program. She worked in K-8 public schools as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. She has worked in GWU’s College of Education as an adjunct since 2021. She earned her EdD in curriculum and instruction from Gardner-Webb. Her dissertation title was “Examining Implementation of Science of Reading Practices in North Carolina Public Schools.” Evans earned her Master of Arts in school administration and Bachelor of Science in elementary education from East Carolina University. Her interests include exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, reading, and beekeeping.
