Previously, he was employed as an associate professor of religion at Louisburg (N.C.) College, a certified chaplain in Charleston, S.C. with Corporate Chaplains of America, and the pastor of White Level Baptist Church (Louisburg) and First Baptist Church of Eutawville (Eutawville, S.C.). He has a bachelor’s degree from Gardner-Webb University (2003), a Master of Divinity (2006) and a Master of Theology (2007) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C., and his doctorate (2020) from Liberty University School of Divinity in Lynchburg, Va. His interests include hiking with his wife, Brantley, playing basketball and video games with his son, Luke, and playing golf and hunting. Read more about him, here.
