Biography

When he first sensed the call of God on his life as a teenager, Dr. Stepp began preparing for service in the local church and practiced youth ministry for several years. Eventually Dr. Stepp believed that his calling was to minister to college students, especially with students who also felt God’s call on their lives. It was this calling that brought Dr. Stepp to Gardner-Webb in 2003.  While working with students at GWU, he has also been active in the life of the local church, serving in pastoral and musical worship roles.  He has also served internationally and led mission trips to Liberia, Kenya, Russia, Poland, Germany, and Guatemala.
