Biography

Dr. Hartman completed his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in 2005 in kinesiology. Prior to completing his terminal degree, Dr. Hartman worked as a personal trainer and in college athletics in and around Charlottesville, V.A. Dr. Hartman teaches introduction to exercise science (EXSI 200), exercise testing and prescription (EXSI 310), exercise programming for special populations (EXSI 410), and research methods (EXSI 432), as well as serving as the exercise science internship coordinator.

Dr. Hartman is an avid runner and reader.
