Previously, he was employed with Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, University of Rhode Island in Kingston and Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He has a Master of Liberal Studies from Wake Forest and a bachelor’s degree in history from Bucknell University in Louisburg, Pa. He likes all sports and enjoys playing golf.
