Previously, he was employed as the assistant track coach at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, S.C. He also worked as an outside sales associate/southeast territory manager for PLAE Flooring. He received his Bachelor of Science in exercise science from Southern Wesleyan University. His hobbies include weightlifting and basketball.
