Master's Plus Certificate

The Master’s Plus (formerly MBA Plus Certificate) provides you with opportunities to teach college-level courses in a specific discipline after you have already graduated with a master’s business degree from an accredited program.

The Master’s Plus (formerly MBA Plus Certificate) is a certificate program that provides graduates of an accredited graduate business program the opportunity to update their business education and explore new career paths in teaching by meeting the typical institutional standard of having earned a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a discipline in order to teach a college-level course. The Master’s-Plus provides business professionals who hold master’s degrees in business with a means for keeping up with the ever-changing business environment and remaining competitive.

Curriculum

What You’ll Learn

The Master’s Plus Certificate requires the completion of six courses for a total of 18 graduate credit hours in an area of emphasis, with at least 12 of those hours at Gardner-Webb. Students who pursue a certificate with an accounting emphasis must meet prerequisite requirements. The certificate program offers emphasis options in:
