The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification was created and is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI). It demonstrates that you are competent when it comes to managing projects, including specific aspects like budgets, goals, and teams.
An overview of Project Management will be covered including addressing the three major processes of project management, planning, scheduling, and control.
There will be discussion on many of the sub-processes that contribute to the major steps. A small case example will also be provided for hands-on discussion.
Students and professionals who complete this program:
Students will attend three, four-hour in-person sessions. Additionally, students can expect to complete approximately ten hours of research and assignments. The course is designed to be completed in 3 evenings over a one or two-week period and has multiple start times throughout the year.
The in-person session is located at Gardner-Webb University’s Charlotte Campus.
