Bulldog Community Discount Program

Gardner-Webb University is proud to support local businesses by encouraging students, faculty, staff, alumni, and campus visitors to eat, shop, and engage locally.

The Bulldog Community Discount Program connects participating businesses with the Gardner-Webb community through special offers, campus visibility, and opportunities for promotion throughout the year.

Become an Official Bulldog Partner

Participation is free. Businesses that join the program provide a discount or special offer for Gardner-Webb students, faculty, and staff. Most partners offer 10–15% off or a comparable special.

In return, participating businesses may receive:

  • A listing on the Bulldog Community Discount
  • Program webpage
  • Promotion through campus communications
  • Opportunities to be highlighted as featured partners
  • Inclusion in key campus moments such as orientation, the Connect Fair, and other events
  • A Bulldog Discount Program decal to display in your storefront window
  • Recognition as a local business supporting Gardner-Webb and the Cleveland County community

Who You’ll Reach

The Gardner-Webb community includes more than 2,500 students and 1,000 faculty and staff, along with alumni, families, and visitors who engage with campus throughout the year.

How It Works

To participate, businesses agree to:

  • Provide a discount or special offer
  • Honor the offer with a valid Gardner-Webb ID
  • Display the Bulldog Discount Program decal provided by the University
  • Share basic business information so Gardner-Webb can promote your participation

Featured partners may be highlighted throughout the year, and Gardner-Webb periodically reviews engagement to identify ways to increase visibility for participating businesses.
