The Gardner-Webb University College Soccer ID Camp is designed for motivated players who aspire to compete at the college level and want to experience the training, competition, and environment of a Division I soccer program.
Throughout the camp, players will take part in college-level training sessions led by the Gardner-Webb coaching staff, focusing on technical development, tactical understanding, decision-making, and the intensity required to succeed at the collegiate level.
Players will have multiple opportunities to showcase their abilities through small-sided games and competitive 11v11 matches, allowing the coaching staff to evaluate players in realistic game situations while giving participants the chance to compete alongside other high-level players.
Off the field, players and families will gain valuable insight into the college recruiting process during a recruiting talk with the coaching staff and players. The talk will cover what college coaches look for in prospective student-athletes, the recruiting process, and what it takes to prepare for the transition to college soccer.
Participants will also have the opportunity to tour Gardner-Webbs soccer facility, providing a firsthand look at the student-athlete experience. Lunch will be provided as part of the camp experience.
