It’s the middle of February and the number of COVID-19 cases in the GWU family remains low. In fact, in Cleveland County the number of new cases, positivity rate, and hospitalizations are all down. This is good news for all of us on campus and for our nearby communities, too…but we can’t let up.
Just do it: wear that mask, wash those hands, and give everybody at least six feet of distance.
We can all have a successful semester right here in The Springs…if we keep up the good work!

Vaccinations
Vaccinations are being handled primarily through insurance providers or county health organizations. The University is not involved in determining those processes. However, when the University receives updates about vaccine events or scheduling, we will share the information with our faculty, staff and students.
To make sure you receive the information, you need to have current emergency contact information on file. Please take a moment to review or update your contact information via WebbConnect. To update your communications preferences, please utilize the Update Emergency Contact Information link found under the Maintain Information folder.
Information on vaccination can be found at hospital or medial organization websites such as Atrium or Novant county health sites such as Cleveland County or Gaston County or by contacting your healthcare provider.
Stay healthy and mask on, Bulldogs!
