The Davis RN-BSN program is designed for registered nurses with an associate degree who desire to obtain their BSN. Emphasizing holistic healthcare grounded in Christian values, the curriculum focuses on clinical competence, therapeutic relationships, and social awareness.
Gardner-Webb maintains productive partnerships with community healthcare facilities, providing students with valuable opportunities for service learning. You’ll learn about providing patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The University also participates in the North Carolina RN to BSN Uniform Articulation Agreement, allowing you, as a registered nurse with an Associate in Nursing degree from a NC Community College, to complete a BSN in as little as 1 year by following the NCCC Davis RN-BSN 5 block degree program.

The Davis RN–BSN program is a fully online program, with courses offered in an 8-week format. There are five start dates, allowing students to begin in the Fall (August, October), Spring (January, March), or Summer (May) semester. The curriculum includes 30 credit hours of nursing courses. Students may combine previously completed general education courses, or take additional courses, to achieve 120 credit hours to earn a BSN. If all general education courses have been completed, students can complete all course requirements in as little as one year. While enrolled in the Davis RN-BSN program, students may substitute two MSN level courses for two RN to BSN courses, allowing students a jumpstart on their MSN degree. Upon completion of the Davis RN-BSN program, students may be seamlessly admitted into the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.

After passing your NCLEX-RN, you’ll begin working as a Registered Nurse. You can find employment at hospitals, medical centers, schools, nursing homes, rehab centers, and more.
