Program Helps Freshmen and New Transfer Students Prepare for Move-In Day

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—Jumpstart at Gardner-Webb University is an opportunity for freshmen and new transfer students to shorten their orientation to-do list. Students can get their new Dawg Tag ID, finalize their financial aid package and create their fall class schedule—all in one place: Tucker Student Center.

The new Dawg Tag ID program brings the convenience of the traditional Webb Card to a smartphone. Available for both Apple and Android devices, the Dawg Tag allows students, faculty, and staff to access campus facilities, meal plans, and make purchases—all from their phone’s wallet. Learn more about the program here.

Molly M. Allison, interim vice president for Enrollment, shared that attending Jumpstart helps new students “check all the boxes of ‘business-y’ things that need to be completed before move-in, making move-in day a breeze!”
