The Office of Church Relations at Gardner-Webb University partners with Christ-centered churches, associations and denominations to advance the Kingdom of God—together.
We want to connect churches to the resources of Gardner-Webb University and also connect students with the broader Christian church community. As the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians, “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:4-6)
Church Relations is an entry point to the University’s educational and ministry resources including:
GWU will match a scholarship from a church—dollar for dollar—up to the cost of tuition.
This $5,500 scholarship is awarded to a dependent student of a full-time minister of a church or an ordained, full-time employee of a church or church-related agency.
Scholarships (up to 30% of tuition) awarded to those students answering God’s call to prepare for full-time Christian vocational ministry.
Every year, we offer programming through the Pittman Center for Congregational Enrichment, such as seminars, lay classes, the Greene Lecture Series, and the Pastors School. For more information, visit The Pittman Center.
The Office of Church Relations is dedicated to providing programming and resources to help connect the Gardner-Webb University community to the Church. Please contact us to discuss opportunities to collaborate.
