Welcome to Gardner-Webb University (GWU) Department of Physician Assistant (PA) Studies. Our PA program is 28 continuous months in length and grants a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree.  The PA Studies program is designed to prepare graduates to become competent and dedicated professionals delivering health services throughout North Carolina and beyond.  The PA Student Handbook and Policy Manual helps meet accreditation standards established by the Accreditation Review Commission on the Education of Physician Assistants (ARC-PA) and is effective January 1, 2022.
