Licensure Programs Offered by the School of Psychology and Counseling

Master of Arts in School Counseling

The Master of Arts in School Counseling program is designed to meet State educational requirements for licensure for the State of North Carolina. Because licensure requirements often change, the University has not made a determination of the extent to which its program meets State educational requirements for licensure in other states, and this webpage will be updated accordingly. For prospective students from states outside of North Carolina or who wish to practice in another state, the University will make that determination prior to a student’s enrollment. For more information, prospective students may contact the Dean of the School of Psychology and Counseling, Dr. David Carscaddoncreate new email.

The two websites below will provide links that lead to counseling licensure requirements for all 50 states.
