Attrition Data

B. GWU Physician Assistant Studies Attrition Data

The GWU PA Studies program benchmark for student attrition is <2 students per cohort or a 6% attrition rate. While that benchmark was exceeded with the 2019 cohort, the benchmark was met with the 2020 and 2021 classes. To address student attrition, the program has modified remediation policies and admissions requirements. The program works closely with the GWU Noel Center for Disability Resources to advocate for assistance with struggling learners. We are devoted to supporting our students in their PA education journey.
