B. GWU Physician Assistant Studies Attrition Data
The GWU PA Studies program benchmark for student attrition is <2 students per cohort or a 6% attrition rate. While that benchmark was exceeded with the 2022 cohort, the benchmark was met with the 2021 and 2023 classes. To address student attrition, the program has modified remediation policies, program curriculum, academic standing policy, and availability of student resources. The program works closely with the GWU Noel Center for Disability Resources to advocate for assistance with struggling learners. We are devoted to supporting our students in their PA education journey.
