Community Update: Vaccine Clinics

Important information for the Gardner-Webb community as we begin the Fall Semester:

Consistent with the recommendation of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Gardner-Webb University strongly encourages you to get the COVID-19 vaccine if you have not already done so. There are two vaccination clinics upcoming on our campus.  The first is this Friday, August 20, and the second is on Friday, September 17. This simple and quick preventative measure is free to all students, faculty, and staff.  We advise you to sign up here.

Protecting the health and safety of our campus community is our first priority. We take that priority seriously, and we expect you to do so as well.  At Gardner-Webb, we intend to remain face-to-face for the academic year.  We will endeavor to keep all of our students on campus and on track toward their degrees.  We want to have as normal a year as possible, while we do our best to take care of each other.  Please, please do YOUR part.

If you are a student with questions, contact Dean of Students Lesley Villarose [email protected].  If you are faculty or staff and have questions, contact Eric Plemmons [email protected] in Human Resources.

Please remember that GWU reserves the right to amend our rules and procedures based upon future changes in requirements or guidance from local, state, and federal health authorities.

Stay safe and healthy, Runnin’ Bulldogs!
