This calculator is provided to assist students with GPA calculations for unofficial use only and the results are not binding on the University. Gardner-Webb uses the Institutional GPA (not the Overall GPA which includes transfer work) in the calculation of academic standing and graduation honors.

Semester GPA Calculator

To calculate your projected GPA for the current semester:

  1. Enter the GPA hours for each course you are currently taking.
  2. Select your expected grades for each course and press Calculate.

Cumulative GPA Calculator

To calculate your projected cumulative GPA:

  1. Enter your current GPA and total GPA hours in the highlighted boxes below.
  2. Enter the GPA hours for each course you are currently taking.
  3. If you are repeating the course as one of your first 6 repeated courses, please click the checkbox and select the previous grade received. See Repeat Course Policy in Academic Catalog for more information.

  2. If you are not repeating any courses for this semester, enter your current GPA.
  3. Enter your total GPA hours, without including the current semester.
  4. Enter the amount of GPA hours taken this semester.
  5. Enter the goal GPA that you would like to achieve.
