The Symphonic Band (MUSC 385) is dedicated to performing the best in concert wind band literature. Symphonic Band is open to members of the local community and all GWU students regardless of major. The ensemble rehearses weekly, performs semesterly, and occasionally performs at University commencement exercises. Instruments are available when necessary.
Non-Music Major members of Symphonic Band receive a $1,000 scholarship per year. Please contact Dr. Sarah Fabian, Director of Bands, for more information.
