Our Mission and Vision

Our Learning Resource Center envisions a dynamic educational landscape where every student can excel. Guided by a commitment to academic success, we aspire to be the best free resource for comprehensive learning support. Our mission is to provide students with academic support in tutoring, writing services, and any academic assistance with our qualified staff of undergraduate and graduate students. At the Learning Resource Center, we envision a future where every learner not only overcomes challenges but emerges stronger, more confident, and well-prepared for a lifetime of academic and personal success.

Make an Appointment

Booking an appointment is not necessary but is the only way to guarantee help from a consultant. If there are more students requesting help than there are consultants available, appointments will be honored before walk-in requests. Students interested in making an appointment can do so in Webbconnect under the “Academic Support” folder. If you have any questions about appointments, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Times and Locations

The LRC’s hours of operation are dependent on tutors’ and writing consultants’ availability; however, availability is always confined to between 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, Mon. – Fri. Appointments are physically hosted in Tucker Student Center Room 327 (found on the third floor, near the public computers), with the exception of Nursing classes which are primarily hosted in the College of Health Science building.
