Learn more about Paul Porter Arena

Built in 1983, and renovated in 2008, the 4,500 seat Paul Porter Arena is located inside the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center on the campus in Boiling Springs. A versatile facility, it serves as the main hub for the Department of Athletics.

The locker area for women’s basketball has a fully-furnished dressing area with individual lockers and provides the Runnin’ Bulldogs with spacious accommodations for practice and game day activities.  Just off the main locker room is a player’s lounge and study area to compliment the facility.

Updates to the locker area for the volleyball program include individual mahogany lockers for each student-athlete as well as a film area for players to hone their skills away from game day.

John Henry Moss Stadium

Bill Masters Field at John Henry Moss Stadium has been the home of Gardner-Webb baseball since its dedication on September 18, 2010. The facility has seating capacity for 550 with further expansion possible.

The dugouts, at 70 feet long, are some of the largest in the Big South and entire nation, each having unique features of their own. Just steps off the 1st base dugout is an indoor hitting tunnel available for Gardner-Webb players to use during practice for swing adjustments.

Recent upgrades to the facility include the installation of field turf and the expansion of the bullpen area along the 3rd base line.

Amenities in the press box include two VIP suites complete with outdoor patios, kitchen area for catering, and bathroom facilities. The box also features two broadcast booths for video-streaming and radio, complete with a spacious press area for members of the media.
