Intramural Sports

The Gardner-Webb Campus Recreation Office offers several Intramural sports, which provide recreational activities that are designed to enrich the quality of physical, mental, spiritual, and social life of University community members.

A wide variety of individual and team sports are offered during the fall and spring semesters to accommodate many interests and abilities. Any currently enrolled student, current faculty or staff member may participate.

All Intramural participants must have an IMleagues account to participate in Intramural sports.

IMLeagues

IMLeagues is an innovative website for college intramural sports. Sport sign up, schedules, team pages, message boards, are among many features provided by IMLeagues.

All intramural participants will be required to create an account on IMLeagues.com.

Creating an IMLeagues Account

1. Visit IMleagues and click Create Account.
2. Enter your information, and use your Gardner-Webb University email address, [email protected], and submit.
3. You will be sent an activation email. In the email, click the link to login and activate your IMLeagues account.
4. You should be automatically jointed to your school. If not, you can search for Gardner-Webb by clicking the schools link.

IMLeagues offers a lives support button in the top right corner of all pages; please use his button if you encounter any difficulties.

Signing up for an Intramural Sport

1. Login to your IMLeagues account.
2. Click the Create/Join Team button at the top right of your User Homepage or click on the Gardner-Webb University link to go to the homepage.
3. The current sports will be displayed. Click on the sport you wish to join.
4. Choose the league you wish to play in, i.e. Men’s A, Men’s B, Women, etc.
5. You can join the sport one of three ways:

Create a team (for team captains)

Captains can invite members to their team by clicking the “Invite Members” link on the team page. Any invited members must accept the invitation to be jointed to your team.

• If they have already registered on IMLeagues, search for their name, and invite them.
• If they have not already registered on IMLeagues, scroll down to the “Invite by Email Address” box and input their email address.

Join a team

• Use the Create/Join Team Button at top right of every page.
• Accept a request from the captain to join his team.
• Find the team and captain name on the division/league page and request to join.
• Go to the captains playercard page, view their team, and request to join.

Join as a free agent

You can list yourself as a free agent in as many divisions within a league as you would like. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.
