Serve with Purpose: Make a Difference in Our Community

During Gardner-Webb’s Week of Giving, Service & Prayer, November 16–20, 2026, faculty and staff are invited to put their faith into action through 100 Minutes of Impact. 

Whether you serve individually or alongside colleagues, on campus or in the community, every act of service helps strengthen our neighbors and reflects our commitment to loving God and serving humanity. 

Explore the community service opportunities below or identify a project of your own. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

How to Participate 

1. Choose Your Opportunity. Explore the opportunities below or identify a service project that is meaningful to you. 
2. Submit Your Service Plan. Select your date and time, then submit your request for approval by your Vice President before serving. 
3. Complete Your Service. After volunteering, return to your approved request form and complete the Proof of Completion section so your hours can be counted toward our collective goal.

Have Another Service Opportunity in Mind? 

You don’t have to select a project from this list to participate! Faculty and staff are welcome to identify their own opportunities to serve, either individually or as a department. 

All service plans must be submitted for Vice President approval before participating.
