I am excited to share with you news and upcoming events in the Godbold College of Business. In Fall of 2021, the College of Business launched Experiential Learning Days. These days were created in an effort to give our students hands-on experiences, networking opportunities and exposure to professionals in all types of industries. This Academic Year, we have continued these Experiential Learning Days and students have had the opportunity to network with professionals from accounting, manufacturing, sales, and more. We are also busy planning our Dawg House Pitch Competition. Thanks to a grant from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, we are able to host our first ever pitch competition. We have students from across campus who have wonderful, innovative ideas! We can’t wait to show them off! We would love for you to be involved with this event in March! The College of Business also partnered again this Academic Year with the Center for Personal and Professional Development to host the Fall Internship and Career Fair where we had over 100 different organizations here on campus to recruit students. We will be hosting the Spring Career and Internship Fair on April 19! We would love for you and your organization to consider registering to recruit for our students! The above events are just the tip of the iceberg. We would love to have you back for a visit, grab a coffee or lunch, speak with students, recruit students and/or other ideas you may have!
