GWU Post Office

The GWU Mail Center provides services to students in the sending, receiving and delivery of mail via the United States Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS.

The GWU Campus Mail Center is located in the Tucker Student Center 1st Floor beside the Campus Shop 


Monday – Thursday – 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

First Class, Priority, and Express

International Shipping must be taken to the Boiling Springs Post Office due to them needing a signature of the sender.
(All express methods must be processed before 3:00 p.m.)

Proper way to address a letter or package

Student package pickup

You will receive an email containing a QR code from Pitney Bowes which will notify you that you have a package to pick up. 

Locker Bank Setup

Picking up a single package

You may collect a package from a locker reserved for you once you receive an email notifying you it is ready for pick up. The Locker Banks are open and available as long as the Tucker Student Center is open.

Open the email containing your QR code or ID

Scan the QR code or tap Enter Pickup Code and enter the code.

  • If you choose to enter the pickup code, use the keyboard to enter the code.
  • Tap Submit

If you kiosk is configured to take your picture, it displays the following screen:

  • This screen appears for about 2 seconds, and takes your picture at the end of that time period.

Using your finger, sign for the package in the area provided.

Tap Submit. The system opens the locker containing your package. It also displays the location of the locker.

  • As soon as the system opens the locker door, it starts a 30 second countdown.

Go to the locker and collect your package.

Close the locker door.

  • If you close the locker before the 30 second countdown reaches 0, or if you tap Done at the kiosk, the message “Pickup Complete” appears on the kiosk screen.
  • The system returns you to the Home Screen about 2 seconds after “Pickup Complete” appears.
